Dr. Cole Houston is originally from Utah. He attended Southern Utah University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and in Management. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga-Erlanger Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Houston has 10+ years of primary care experience and he has strived to bring a wealth of knowledge to each of his patients. He is committed to treating all patients as if they were his own family, assisting them in achieving optimal health.
Dr. Houston has lived in Utah, St Maarten, London, New York City, Tennessee, and Georgia. In 2018 he chose to settle down in San Diego and to create his new office, Evolve.
He is an avid traveler and enjoys experiencing other cultures. Some of his favorite spots include Australia, Ireland, and England. His favorite visit to date is Iceland–home to the Blue Lagoon.
He enjoys the sunny weather and being outdoors; hiking, four-wheeling, camping. When at home, he enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and home projects.
Friends and family are of great importance. He travels back to Utah every chance he gets to visit his family. He loves animals, especially dogs. He has two miniature pinschers named Roxy and Troy.
